Four men arrested as NSW drug strike force seizes five kilos of cocaine, meth and $1.5m in cash in weekend blitz


Four men have been charged following a NSW Police drug bust which uncovered more than five kilograms of cocaine and meth and $1.5 million in cash.

Officers from Strike Force Polle stopped and searched a sedan on Mintaro Ave in Strathfield at 3.40pm on Sunday which was occupied by two men in their 20s.

About 2.3kg of cocaine and $24,000 cash were found by officers in the sedan.

A second search was carried out on a hatchback nearby where a further 550g of cocaine and 140g of MDMA was found.

The two men were arrested and taken to Burwood Police Station.

The 23-year-old man was charged with supply large commercial quantity prohibited drug.

The 28-year-old man was charged with supply large commercial quantity prohibited drug and knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime.

Two search warrants at properties on Hunter St in Strathfield then led to the capture of a further $1.5 million cash, 2kg of methylamphetamine, 2L of methylamphetamine oil, almost 700g of cocaine as well as cannabis and steroids.
